I recently moved again. To Firenze- Florence. Back home. It truly feels like home when you go back to a city where you know your way around, it just is. I adore Naples. But I needed a change. I craved tranquillità – tranquillity. When you are starting a new life abroad you simply need some focus, peace and, for me personally, some nature. Since I do not own a car, I need public transport to work. It is essential for me. Especially in the area of Naples, I have noticed, it is a challenge to get from point a to b when u rely soley on public transport. It has gorgeous nature, but 99% is outside of the city and I simply do not want to take a two hour bus ride to be somewhere and not knowing if I can get back home before midnight. Yes, this happens in the south of Italy.
Florence is the right place for me in this moment. It has beauty, peace and good food. And nature that I can reach within no time. My feet can take me anywhere in this city, I just love this.
